From NetEnts slot game Space Wars I created a costume of the Brute character, to be used at a social event for the friends and family of the game developers. Inspired by Adam Savage’s Totoro build, the bulk of the beast is held up by a bunch of rattan rods, tied into circles and linked together with gaffers tape. The fur is has been custom dyed using ink and isopropyl alcohol, the teeth are sculpted from expanded PVC, and the eye is molded PU painted with acrylics. The whole costume rests on a handmade aluminium harness.
